DSTV Installation & Repairs in Petit – Local Issues
Petit has specific DSTV challenges – large stands, high boundary walls, double-storey face-brick and estate rules make alignment tricky. Destiny Installers knows Petit – we inspect first, check line-of-sight to IS20 at 68.5E, roof type and cabling before quoting.
Signal blocked by trees / high walls
Mature trees and high walls block IS20 north-east. We survey with meter above obstruction, mount high gable or pole 80cm heavy-duty wind-braced.
Estates need charcoal dish + approval
Many Petit estates need charcoal dish only, low profile, hidden cables, HOA approval letter. We carry charcoal 80cm, handle trustee approval, mount behind parapet.
Face-brick houses no ceiling void no chase
Original face-brick 1970s-90s homes have no ceiling void, low-pitch roof, body corporate bans drilling face-brick. We use existing conduits, flat coax behind gutters, sealed entry.
